WHAT IS THE NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR MEALS?

You can find full nutritional panels under the product description of each meal. The basic nutritional information is also on your meals packaging.

DO YOUR MEALS CONTAIN ANY PRESERVATIVES?

We strive to use the freshest local ingredients for all our meals and therefore use no added preservatives. We also make all our sauces from scratch, every week.

DO YOUR MEALS HAVE A USEBY/BEST BEFORE DATE?

Meals have up to a 7-day shelf life. Best before dates are located on the packaging. Some meals and snacks have a longer shelf life. Always check the Use By date before consumption.

CAN YOUR MEALS BE FROZEN?

We prefer our meals to be consumed fresh for the full Gym Meals Direct experience when the meals are at their highest nutritional and flavour quality. However, all our meals can be frozen if you so wish.

ARE YOUR MEALS HALAL?

We source Halal certified meat for all our meals except for pork.

ARE YOUR MEALS GLUTEN AND DAIRY FREE?

We have a very diverse menu that contains meals that are gluten, dairy and nut free. You can filter the products by selecting the buttons on the order page.

HOW DO YOUR MEALS STAY FRESH?

Not only do we source the freshest ingredients every week we also seal our meals using "Modified Atmosphere Packaging". Like vacuum sealing, this process removes oxygen from the meals and allows the product to stay fresh naturally for as long as possible.

DO YOU HAVE VEGAN/VEGETARIAN MEALS?

Yes we do! You can filter products by selecting the buttons on the menu page.

Meal plans & subscriptions

DO I HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE?

No you do not. If you would like to order a plan and do not want to subscribe simply select "One Time Purchase" at checkout.

CAN I PAUSE OR SKIP MY ORDER?

Yes you can. To pause subscription you will need to log in to your account, select manage subscription and then pause under subscription status. To skip an order select "manage subscription" under view details and choose which week you would like to skip.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS IN MY SUBSCRIPTION?

To change your delivery address log in to your account, select manage subscription and then address and shipping information under view details drop down.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

To cancel your subscription you will need to log in to your account, select "Manage Subscription" and then click "Cancel Subscription" under view details drop down.

WHAT DAY DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION DEBIT MY ACCOUNT?

It will be debited on the same day each week that you either placed or edited your order.

WHAT IF THERE ARE NO FUNDS IN MY ACCOUNT ON THE DAY OF DEBIT?

If there are no funds in your account at the time of debit, we will debit your account again the next day before canceling the subscription.

CAN I DELETE MEALS IN MY SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes you can! Simply select "Manage Subscription" in your account and then "manage upcoming order under view details drop down.

Pickup & delivery

WHEN DOES MY ORDER NEED TO BE IN BY?

Canberra and Queanbeyan areas: All orders must be placed by Midnight Thursday for either a pick-up Sunday, or delivery Monday.

DO YOU DELIVER TO WORKPLACES?

If you have selected delivery on checkout, we can deliver straight to your place of work. Please ensure you have included the correct address details in the 'delivery information' section when finalising your order at checkout.

WHAT TIME CAN WE PICK UP OUR MEALS ON SUNDAY?

Our dedicated team rises early to cook the meals fresh every Sunday, ready for the week ahead. If you have selected the 'pick-up' option at checkout, you can collect your meals between 3 pm - 5 pm from our kitchen located at 19/9 Beaconsfield Street FYSHWICK, CANBERRA ACT. Just follow the happy customers leaving with their brown boxes.

WHAT TIME DO YOU DELIVER?

Our drivers start at 6am every Monday and are on the road until 4pm every week. If you would like a one hour window of what time your meals will be delivered please email info@gymmealsdirect.com.au

HOW DO YOU DELIVER YOUR MEALS?

We don't trust delivery companies to uphold our standards, so we have our own, highly trained delivery drivers that deliver your meals. These drivers carefully load the meals early on delivery day into our refrigerated vans and ensure they are loved and cared for throughout the whole process. Have a question about the delivery? WHAT IF I AM NOT AT HOME?

If you have opted for your meals to be delivered to your home rather than your work, do not stress, as you do not have to be home for us to deliver the goods. Our packaging has been designed to keep your meals fresh for 6-10 hours before placing into your fridge. DO YOU CHARGE FOR DELIVERIES?

Yes. We charge $10 for delivery unless you order over $80.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?

Yes, there is a minimum order of 5 meals before the website will allow you to checkout.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver to Canberra and Queanbeyan. Please use postcode checker on "Our Menu" screen.

WHAT DO I DO IF I DIDN'T RECIEVE EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED?

We have fantastic staff that has great attention to detail when it comes to packing the thousands of meals we send out every week. However, if you feel you didn't receive exactly what you ordered, contact us at info@gymmealsdirect.com.au to have it rectified.

WHAT IF I LIVE IN A HIGH RISE OR GATED COMPLEX?

Please leave delivery notes with instructions on how to enter the complex (such as a code or buzzer), or if it’s okay to leave your order at the reception or front gate. If you haven’t left any specific instructions, our drivers will leave your order in the safest place possible.

WHAT IF I CAN NOT PICK UP MY ORDER?

Don't stress, contact us and we can arrange alternative times.

WHAT IF I MISS CUT OFF?

If you have missed cut off please contact us immediately to see whether we can facilitate.

Packaging

WHY DO YOU USE WOOL?

Woolcool insulated packaging has been independently proven to keep pharmaceuticals within the critical 2°c and 8°c from 24 hours to more than 72 hours. Woolcool has also been independently proven to keep food contents below the all important 5°c for at least 24 hours and longer.

HOW DOES YOUR INSULATION COMPARE TO POLYSTYRENE?

Temperature after 24 hour testing. MY ICEPACK ISN'T FROZEN?

As our cool packs are made from gel, they might not be frozen solid when they arrive. Don’t worry! It’s supposed to be this way. Being gel, these packs bend and flex, staying colder for longer. They’re also less rigid than solid ice bricks that have sharp edges and can damage contents inside.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE INSULATED BOXES?

We are environmentally conscious, so we endeavour to reuse as much packaging as possible. Please leave the box, insulation and ice pack outside on the day of your next delivery or Alternatively, you can drop it off at our pickup location at any time.

IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

Yes! Woolcool products are primarily made from wool and cardboard/paper based materials, some of which are from recycled sources. These are renewable and compostable/recyclable.

WHAT IS A CHEF SPECIAL?

To keep things interesting we have committed to introducing new meals every month under chef specials. You are then given the opportunity to have your say on these meals and vote whether they stay on the menu or get replaced.
